  古今東西の文化を学びたい」
「総合的に英語力を向上させたい」

なお、当日はプログラムやゼミを紹介したパンフレットを配布します。

≪2012年度多元文化論系ゼミ･卒研ガイダンス≫

多元文化論系では、2013年度に3年生になる皆さんを対象に、
論系ゼミ・卒業研究の選択について、下記のとおり、ガイダンスを行います。

日時： 9 月27 日（木）　13：00より　
場所： 34 号館453 教室

論系主任の稲畑先生からのご説明のあと、
主任、各ゼミの先生方、専任教員、助教、助手が、個別に、相談や質問に対応します。
どのゼミを選択するか、卒業研究についてなど、気軽に質問してください。
もちろん、ガイダンス以降も相談のある場合は、論系室まで！
直接顔を出してもらっても、メールでも、お待ちしています。

　Key Issues in Second Language Acquisition and Key Implications for Second Language Teaching
   ～第二言語習得と教授法におけるポイント～

要旨： 

         Scholars have been working towards understanding and investigating second language acquisition from the perspective of learning. Like any other field of inquiry, research in second language acquisition is driven by a number of major issues (e.g. What does development look like? What are the roles of explicit and implicit learning?, Does instruction make a difference, …etc.). Although, teaching cannot be equated with learning, knowledge about second language acquisition findings can inform second language teaching. Practitioners and classroom researchers should be able to use the research to formulate specific techniques and methods. In this talk, some of the key issues and current research findings in the field of second language acquisition will be reviewed in order to draw some pedagogical implications for second language teaching.

講演者紹介 ：
　　　 Alessandro Benati is Professor of Applied Linguistics and Second Language Studies at the University of Greenwich, UK. He has published a number of books and journal articles in the area of second language acquisition, foreign language grammar and language teaching methods.

　　　He has worked extensively with James Lee (The University of New South Wales) on classroom-based research measuring primary and secondary effects of processing instruction. Their most recent collaboration is Processing Instruction and Discourse (Continuum, 2010). He has also collaborated with Bill VanPatten (Michigan State University) on a book on second language acquisition (Key Terms in Second Language Acquisition, 2010).

多元文化論系新２年生懇親会のご案内

新二年生の皆さん、ようこそ、多元文化論系へ。
新年度がはじまって１カ月が経ちましたが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。
多元文化論系では、下記日時に、懇親会を開催します。

進級したばかりの皆さんには、多元文化論系に、
どのような先生方がいて、どんなゼミがあり、どういった研究ができるのか、
よく分からず不安に思っている方も多いのではないでしょうか。

懇親会では、論系の先生方が揃って、皆さんをお迎えします 。
この機会に、論系の全体像を知るとともに、
先生方や同じ論系の同級生と懇親を深めてもらえればと思います。

この懇親会は、皆さんが秋に選択するゼミ／卒業研究の簡単な事前ガイダンスも
兼ねています。当日は、ゼミ 選択の参考となる、ゼミ案内パンフレットも配布します。

 ３・４年生の皆さんも、留学やゼミ／卒業研究について、先生方や助教・助手に、
